I hope that our website gives you an insight into life at Ovingdean Hall School for Deaf Children and Young People.
I joined the school as Principal in September 2009 and I am supported by Sarah Mascall as Vice-Principal and Sarah Wild as Head of Education.
The school has changed its focus and now has the facilities to support a range of language and communication needs. This fits in with the school's philosophy that every student should receive an education tailored to their needs and preferred methods of communication - an education that is best designed to develop their talents and self-confidence. This is an area of ongoing work and I look forward to letting you know more in the future through this website and School Newsletters. Ovingdean Hall School is a very special community and one that deserves to be shared with as many deaf children and young people as possible.
